It offers an abundance of colourful fish, intricate coral and crystal clear water, with average water temperatures of 28c. It’s like stepping into a warm bath. However, the real highlight is that on the remote island of Bougainville, you’ll often have the place to yourself. Since arriving in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea I now take a plunge as often as possible. You just never know what you might see whilst snorkeling in Papua New Guinea!
