In late 2016 25 + volunteers from across the globe including Australia, Japan, Austria and New Zealand, and all working and/or volunteering on the island of Bougainville came together to help celebrate International Volunteer Day with the sisters and locals of the village of Chabai in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea.

    My wife and I spent two and a half your at Asitavi High School about ten years ago. It was the highlight of our retirement. We loved Bougainville and often reminiscing about the time there.
